When you think of the best Grateful Dead merch, you think of it being found at a head shop, or out of someone's equeally heady van. You don't think of it in mainstream commercial locations, but that's exactly where you can find it now. It's everywhere! Hey, if it sells, people are going to sell it, right?
This week, I saw a t-shirt stand and a Spencer's selling Grateful Dead items. It's a little weird to see the items sold in a mall, of all places, since a mall seems against the ideas that the band has stood for over time; more community oriented sales would be appropriate, but given our global economy, it's not always as feasible today, unfortunately.
Where is the weirdest place you've found Dead merchandise?
