No More CDs at Best Buy

Will this effect you?

Best Buy just announced that they will no longer be selling CDs in their stores and customers are acting pretty outraged over the decision. You can't blame the company for making this difficult decision when they're suffering sales losses from the lack of sales, but customers are acting like they can't purchase sliced bread anymore. Who still gets their music via CD anymore, anyway?

That made me wonder how many Grateful Dead fans are currently purchasing CDs to obtain their music these days. I listen to my music strictly digitally, whether via downloads from Amazon or Spotify. Everyone else in my house does the same, so I haven't purchased a CD in a long time. We do listen to books on tape now and then but that's a different type of media on the same medium.

How do you listen to your Grateful Dead music? Will this decision effect you?
